During the summer, the boys spent a few days in Knoebel's with my Dad and his girlfriend, Gwen. When they returned home from their little excursion, they couldn't stop talking about their experiences; looking at the map, reminiscing about their time. They couldn't wait to show 'Mom and Dad' what Knoebel's was all about. With the turn of the seasons, we found ourselves traveling to Danville, PA for a weekend getaway with Dad and Gwen. We spent the entire day visiting the Knoebel's Amusement Park, where Steve, William, Benjamin, and I enjoyed our first roller coaster ride as a family (The Impulse). Steve and I learned a few lessons during the weekend: 1. Our children are fearless. This scares the living beejezus out of me! 2. Getting old; the rickety old wooden coasters beat each of us up more than we would like to admit. 3. Time with family is priceless; while we knew this, it was renewed during our weekend away.
