We spent a fun night with friends enjoying the Kennett High School homecoming game. All the kids marched with their respective elementary school in the parade pre-game. As night fell, the crisp air filtered into the stadium. Under the glow of the 'Friday Night Lights,' Kennett shined and walked away with a win!

{Cape Cottage} is being built near Hopkins Prong, a small tributary of the Rehoboth Bay. Our house will be located five lots from the water. A community area with a boat ramp and pier are at the end of our community. We are really looking forward to spending our days kayaking, fishing, crabbing, and eventually boating. We hope you come visit!
All good things are built upon a solid foundation. The boys are examining the work of our builder at the site of our future summer home! We are so blessed to be able to share this experience with the boys. Stay tuned. . . house pictures coming soon!
We celebrated 10 years of marriage today! Steve and I took the boys to the Kennett Inn for dinner. This is where we had our rehearsal dinner 10 years ago. Seems like yesterday . . .
However, this time we had two little boys with us. Neither of which existed ten years ago! People kept asking us, "Who is watching the boys so you two can go to dinner?" Our philosophy is simple . . . While we acknowledge that dinner with just the two of us is nice, with an 8 year old and 6 year old we know the time will be upon us that they won't want to go to dinner with us. So, for the time being, we will take all of them we can get! The past ten years flew by and we anticipate the next ten will only seem to go faster. xoxo |
