This date 7 years ago I had a panic attack and began sterilizing bottles. I knew I wanted to breastfeed, but for some reason had the sudden urge to boil bottles over the stove top. That evening, I went into labor. Isn't our intuition amazing? Benjamin was born in the wee early morning hours of April 12, 2007. The night before was full of craziness at the Chester County Hospital, attributed to the full moon. Unfortunately, we didn't have anything with us since I had previously had so many false alarms. We truly thought we would be coming home so we left the bag, the camera, and our first born in loving care with the promise of seeing him in the morning. Little did we know we were about to give birth to a second son. We waited until his birthday to find out if we were having a boy or a girl {few good surprises in life, right}? Four days later we went home and continued our journey as a newly formed family of four. It has been an amazing journey in your short seven years. You are hysterical and love your big brother, who found an instant 'forever friend' the day you were born. It is jaw-dropping to look through pictures and compose this tribute to you. In the throws of being a young mother with two little boys, many moments are blurred with the day in and day out chores of being parents. However as we reflect and celebrate you, the moments captured on film are the ones most remembered. As we celebrate you on your seventh birthday, may I remind you that you will always and forever be our little baby Ben. If you wanted to know, your brother was calling you Baby Ben before you were even born. He was certain you were a boy and he was going to have a baby brother. We look forward to watching you continue to grow into a respectful and responsible young man. With all our love . . . xoxo Mommy & Daddy
