Flanked by our wonderful neighbors, we headed out for our first evening on the bay to watch the fireworks. Navigating the waters of the Rehoboth Bay can be tricky during the day with such shallow water and plenty of sandbars, but night wasn't something we had tried before. Our loving and caring neighbors were headed out as well, and felt the need to 'sandwich us' as we headed out and back in. We are more than blessed with our new friends!
The water was filled with boats galore, all hoping to catch a 360 degree view of fireworks from surrounding beaches. Once out we set our anchor and patiently waited as night fell upon us. Bethany Beach had the best and longest display. Paradise Grill and Dewey were wonderful to watch as well. As we watched the displays, we acknowledged how lucky and blessed we truly are and how forever grateful we are for our freedom.
