Tis the season . . .
As years pass and our boys continue to grow, we want them to feel the joy and excitement giving brings. Our hope is that they learn Christmas is more about giving than receiving. We carefully assembled twenty-one hot cocoa packets for our nearest and dearest, complete with a candy cane and marshmallow rope. Handmade with love and laughter. Emotions ran high as Operation Ding Dong Ditch commenced. The boys were nervous about being seen and extremely excited to leave treats for their friends. As I anxiously waited in the parked car hidden out of sight, they snuck up to the doors, dropped the treats, and darted back to the car. I can still hear them laughing as they hopped in and we sped off! Afterwards, they giggled endlessly as I shared the messages being passed as our friends tried to figure out who left them a little love.
